Hristos Voskrese! Choir is in full swing for spring! We are very excited that on May 10 and June 7, we will travel with Father Krstic to sing responses during the Divine Liturgy he officiates once a month in Rochester, Minnesota. On June 7, our extended parishioners in Rochester are planning a banquet and they have invited our choir to perform a few folks songs afterwards. All proceeds will go to our church! How wonderful for both our communities! Please let us know if you’d like to travel with us to enjoy the day together and meet some old and new friends.
I’d like to extend a warm welcome to our newest choir members: Andrew and Erin Scheglowski. Andrew is the nephew of Branko Colakovic, whom I’m sure most of you know. We are absolutely thrilled that they have decided to join us. Wow, we are 22 members strong now.
This is also an invitation to join us in singing the responses during liturgy--whether you come upstairs or not--you will find it uplifting and rewarding to share such a feeling of unity as you participate in the liturgy. Don’t be shy! Sing
