March 12th - Girl Scout Faith Study- Spring 2008 Program - Begins March 12th and continues for 4 weeks.
Every Wednesdy evening after Pre-Sanctified Liturgy, (unless otherwise noted on the calendar), during Great Lent from 7pm-8pm at  Holy
Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church We will be working with the SCOBA sanctioned lessons through PRAY to earn their St. George badges.

March 15th - We will meet at Flaherty's Bowl and Grill in Arden Hills from 4-6pm. Sunday School will pay for the lane rentals for all
participants, and shoe rentals for all registered Sunday School students who would like to participate. Contact Nada Filipovich to confirm your
space, of if you have additional questions.

April 12th - Sunday School Lenten Bread Class and Sleep Over This date is held for all youth in Level 2, 3, and 4 Orthodox study classes
who want to come and participate in making Lenten Bread for church; learning about the importance of bread in the Orthodox Faith,
especially the
Prosphora - bread prepared for the Sacraments.  The children can spend the evening and then attend church together on
Sunday for Divine Liturgy at 10am. Contact Nada Filipovich for more information (651) 641-0828.

April 12th - This day kicks off our two-week long Youth Stewardship Spring Event.  All children are encouraged to bring a non-perishable
food item to be placed by the altar during collections for a special blessing from Father. They are also encouraged to bring them on
Wednesdays and Fridays during the week to be placed at the altar before services of the Pre-Sanctified Liturgy begins,  and again on
Saturdays before Vespers.
Remember Father will be having confessions every Saturday from now until Pascha. We encourage the children
to come to confession during these weeks.
At the end of the two weeks the collected food items will be delivered to a local, neighborhood
food shelf on behalf of the Youth of Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church.

April 19th - First Annual Sunday School Stewardship Day
Today the sunday school students will learn what it is to take pride in the place that we worship and pray to our Lord.
The children, along side their parents and other volunteers, will clean and organize the church and church hall, as well as the exterior
property and grounds. And then we will prepare for Lazarus Saturday Vespers.

  • 10:00am - Meet at the church (coffee, juice, and lenten pastries will be provided).  
  • 10:00am - 10:30am Brunch and Assignments
  • 10:30am - 1:30pm Cleaning the church and church hall
  • 1:30pm - 2:30pm Break for lunch
  • 2:30pm - 3:30pm Finish cleaning church and church hall
  • 3:30pm - 4:30pm Grooming the church grounds and entry
  • 4:30pm - Clean up. Time to change into clean clothes for dinner and Vespers.
  • 5:00pm - Spaghetti Dinner.
        Bells will be passed out to each child to ring during Vespers
  • 6:00pm - Lazarus Saturday Vespers begin

May 1st-4th Festival of Nations-  Many of our children will be participating in the Festival of Nations this year through the Jr Morava Dance

June 29th-July 6th St.Mary's Summer Camp 2008-  Registration for this great opportunity should open up for this summer sometime

July 26th - Pancake Breakfast-  A fundraiser for our 2008-2009 Youth Orthodoxy Education Program (Sunday School). Additional Details
to Follow.  We're looking for volunteers to assist in organizing event details, advertising, and execution of event on the 26th of July. Kitchen
help, Cleaners, Servers, and Greeters are always of welcomed assistance.  Contact School Director, Tanya Troska for more information:
